2006 Mountaineer 5th fiberglass Nose cap.

Thought I would polish the nose cap on my 2006 Mountaineer... Won't polish.. concluded that the gloss is gone ( never to be returned) due to dust abrasion and sunlight...... Has anyone else had that problem and has anyone else found a solution. The fiberglass sides, back, and the underside front of the cap are shiney still...... ???????? Regards.

A search of the forum about fading front caps will turn up all kinds of posts about this topic. You are not, by any means, the only member to have issues with their front cap fading and/or decals peeling.

Try searching this out here on the forum to read about what others are experiencing and what they have tried to do to remedy the problem.

If you can't find any of the previous threads/posts about fading front caps, check back here.
