Manually Operate Slides 2012 Alpine

Does anyone know where the manual operation for the slides are. I think I found it right above the hydraulic motor but I will need some special right angle tool to get in there. Also, is there a separate one for the landing gear?

Assuming things have not changed from the 2011, there is a plastic plug in the wall right behind the pump motor and another in the cargo bay on the other side of that wall. Remove them and you can get to the drive bolt in the end of the pump motor.

Do I need to remove any of the wires before manually operating so I do not damage motor.

I didn't know about these plugs. Just checked, I've got them also as Doc said. chivas had a good question, do you need to disconnect anything like battery, electrical power or any wires to turn the pump manually? Does this effect the hydraulic oil, hoses, tank, or anything else by doing this? A full explanation would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hey Dave.... I also have a related question. Upon a hydraulic failure, such as you've had, how does one get the slide in/out?

I sure hope I never have to manually operate my slides.
