Drawer under frigerator...

I am wondering about the drawer under the fridge, I see some have them and some don't... Is it just an option they put when they feel like it? I am hoping ours has it cause never can have enough storage.. I would think all would like it, either use it or not!! I have seen the Monty with and without under both styles of fridge.. Any ideas? Our model is Montana 3100RL

I don’t know what model you have, but my furnace is under my fridge. If there’s no access to the space, it’s probably because there’s some appliance in there.

I have 2 under there because I have a double door fridge. They were standard.

Found out we do have a cabinet door with storage underneath, as of now it has the kitchen sink covers stored there.. We will be picking it up next Wednesday, can't wait to get it home, packed and head to coast..

Something folks might want to keep in mind on things like this, the presence of that particular drawer may depend on the size of the fridge in some models. If a customer wants a bigger fridge, it is very easy for the manufacturer to simply replace the drawer with the taller fridge.

Our Cougar has the larger fridge, so it extends to the floor of the slide. Were it the smaller fridge, I suspect the trailer would have come with the drawer below.

In most of the newer traulers, the furnace is under the fridge. The height of the fridge, both Dometic & Norcold, leaves a given amount of space. Depending on the trailer, that space is used as either a drawer below the fridge, or a cabinet above.

Has anyone actually seen a bigger fridge in a TT? I havn't. Norcold and Dometic seem to be the standard and they are made to the same dimensions so that they will interchange in the same sixe opening without cabinet modification. With the marine equipment I sell, I can order any brand to replace any brand and it will fit the existing opening.

This is the best pic of our fridge that I have right now (trailer is in storage until April.) The fridge goes all the way to the floor of the slide.
