Canadian forum members will no longer be able to offer their "2 cents worth" on this forum. We are now penniless as a result of today's announcement by our government that it will no longer make any more of these coins.
Apparently, it costs 1.6 cents to produce and is only worth 1 cent.
But I am fortunate enough to have a jar full of coppers stashed away somewhere so I am still able to post until I have used up all of my "2 cents worth".
From now on, you can expect to hear "That's just my nickel's worth" from your northern neighbours.
