Just joined the forum today. I didn't know it existed or I would have joined it last May when we purchased our 2012 Keystone Avalanche 343RS. I was searching on the internet for some information on the type of inverter/converter in this model of 5th wheel when I accidentally stumbled upon this forum. I am happy I found it and I am looking forward to all the information available on it.
We just got back from the coast after 4 glorious days of sunshine and perfect weather. It was tough having to wear shorts and flip-flops in February but I would have been too warm otherwise.
It would have been perfect if we hadn't have lost all our power. I have the Onan Marquis Gold 5500 generator but apparently the inverter/converter went out as it wasn't charging the batteries (2 - 12 volts) and we were not hooked up to shore power. Still a lot of fun. Thank goodness we had a spare generator.

It's not yet spring here, but they said on the news tonight that sometime in the "near future" the Maple trees will start rising sap, so even if we do have 4feet of white stuff on the ground, "they said" we will have spring.... YIPPEEEEE!!!

Again, welcome, make yourself at home and if you could.... please refrain from the "flip flops AND shorts" comments.... One or the other will do, but both in the same sentence is just torture
