Secure two batteries

New Montana High Country (!) and I want to upgrade from the crappy battery CW stuck in there with two 6v GC batteries. My question is: how should I secure them? They are in the front compartment. There is currently a single battery box for the OEM battery but I can’t find a double box on Amazon. Also note that I would also like to go with AGM so I don’t think I need to worry about venting. Thanks team!

I have installed this on several units. If the original box is "flush mount" you should take it out ands cover the hole.

I have the battery box that is in Chuck's link. It's great, but (always a but) it doesn't allow for much clearance to lift batteries in or out of the box when it's installed in the front compartment of a fifth wheel. I found that two GP24 tall battery boxes are much easier to handle and to get in/out of the front compartment. https://www.batteriesplus.com/produc...SABEgIia_D_BwE

What I finally did with my two GC2 batteries was mount two GP24 battery trays in the compartment, build a lid out of coroplast and vent that lid out of the compartment. Venting is probably "overkill" since the compartment bottom is open to the underside of the trailer.

Thanks folks. How did you secure them to the tray?

I was sure I got mine on Amazon.......but now I can't find it??
It holds 2 6 volt batteries and just fits into the tray on the trailer.

I have it strapped down with 2 straps.
However, it is ONLY good to travel with both batteries in it. I would not attempt to carry it with 2 batteries, even with 2 people.
