New Bullet Owner, Denver, CO

Greetings from the Denver area. DW and I just brought home our new Bullet 243BHS today. We are upgrading from a smaller Flagstaff MicroLite that didn't have a slide. With 2 kids (2 & 4) and the dog it felt like we couldnt all be in there at once. We need the extra width the slide would provide. We went to RV shows all winter and had it narrowed down to the Passport 2400 GT or the Bullet. The other main one we liked was the North Trail 24BHS but it was too heavy. We are towing with the little ecoboost F150 and I wanted it well within my towing capabilities (7600lbs towing, 1295lb payload). We choose the bullet because it had a few extras we liked (aluminum wheels, much bigger awning with a led awning light, magnetic storage doors, bigger heater, more teardrop front shape, more pass-through space, storage doors under the dinette). We paid about $1000 more for the bullet but it seemed worth it. Only problem is the bullet was only available from CW Golden and their reviews online are atrocious. So far we are really excited about the Bullet!

Congrats on your new Bullet. I recently surprised my wife with a new bunkhouse Bullet 308BHS. Have spent 2 dry camping nights inside hooked up to 20 amp service in our driveway. Can't wait to stretch its legs this weekend for our first overnight in a real campground.

We, too, looked at other brands but ultimately decided that the Bullet was the most feature packed.

Congrats on the new trailer, I'm sure you'll love it. Our Laredo is pretty much the same and our two kids and dog love it. This forum is awesome and has helped me numerous times since we bought our TT in August. Good luck.

Welcome and congrats. We recently moved up from a pop up to a 272 BHS. Talk about going from camping to glamping! . We looked at the 243 but got the 272 for basically the same money. You will really enjoy it.

Could be wrong, but it looks like the W/D bars aren't on, that would explain the squat.

You are correct, I hadn't connected the bars yet when I took this.
