What are these and why are they leaking?
Hi folks, these are directly under the city water connection in the back of my 175LHS, no water is currently connected. I tried hand tightening both, but they wouldn't tighten further and are leaking a drop every 2-3 seconds.
Is there something better to replace them with? The same kind of outlet is under the fresh water tank, but it is not leaking.
Thanks!
Steve

Those are the Low point drains. Blue is the cold side and Red is the Hot side. Most likely the cone washer inside the cap has failed or isn't there. You can tighten them with a wrench, just be careful. I would take the caps off and look for the washer. If there isn't one then any decent hardware store should have them, 1/2" is the size. If the washers are there, take one out and take it with you to match up 2 new ones.

Took the caps off, no cone washers - just the caps and open end of fitting that cap screws onto. Would you happen to have a pic of what a cone washer looks like?

The cone washers will work their way up into the portion of the male threaded connector if the cap is over tightened. Look for a beige color ring on the inside of the male fitting end after removing the cap. If there is a beige ring, pry out the cove washer and replace with new as other suggest.

Thanks all - it seems everything at Home Depot is a multi-pack lately, but glad I bought a pack of 3 different shapes. I needed two different ones to fit the two pipes.
All good now, thanks for the help! And I have spares if the fresh water drain ever starts to drip.
