Wouldn't it be nice to have a rearview camera system that also incorporates a TPMS?

It's an optional item on the Ford SuperDuty. It is a "customer placed rear trailer camera and individual trailer wheel TPMS for up to 6 wheels. Cost is $725 on the 2019 models.

backup camera

We have a Rand McNally overdryve 7 so I went with there camera, got two of them
because they are on sale for 30.00. Wired one as rearview on back of 5th and the other as a cargo camera. They are wireless and they have an app for your phone so you don't really need the gps. So far both work great.

I had to splice the power to the factory set-up and it runs by WIFI to a tablet I have in the Cab of the truck. Works great. I let it run going down the road to see whats behind me and it helps backing in.
Where did u mount the camera? I have a big picture window in the trailer rear

Does anyone know of a wireless camera with a suction cup mounting for inside the 5er in the back window?

I got the Furrion Observation camera and I love it, would not pull another RV without one.

I've used industrial strength velcro to mount my camera to my trailer. It's been there for years and thousands of miles.

When they come out with a truck/camera that will back a 43 foot 5er I'll buy the 1st one.

I'm with you. According to Ford, their "available Trailer Reverse Guidance System" will guide you in backing and provide "digitally expanded views" of where the trailer is going based on steering wheel movement"...

I'm not really sure what that is supposed to imply, but for me, I'd sooner trust the neighbor's 10 year old before I'd trust a "available with some optional packages" accessory..... Of course, I don't trust their "parallel parking program" or the lane keeping or adaptive cruise control either.... Come to think of it, I don't trust Google's self driving car any more than Ford's contributions....

I'll keep doing my "back up and pull forward till it's where I want it method..... YMMV

I too have the Furrion Observation camera on the back of my 40' 5'er. It stays connected with no problems, my only slight complaint is there is a slight lag but it's great for observing traffic and backing. I have tried cheaper wireless cameras none of which would stay connected especially upon any movement.
