Fullway termination valve

Hi I’m new to this forum just bought a new 5th wheel I used it this past weekend I tried to use the black tank flush valve when I turned the water on it didn’t sound like it was going into the tank and the hose was building up pressure I shut it off right away the dump valve was open any suggestions thanks keystone half ton🤔

Welcome to the forum!!

It sounds like the black tank rinser is either plumbed backwards or there is a blockage. If your unit is brand new, I would suspect the hoses were hooked up wrong at the anti siphon valve.

I don’t know the exact location of that valve in your unit because we don’t sell Keystones anymore where I work.

Sorry I can’t be of more help, but I’m thinking the hoses are hooked up wrong if it’s a new unit.

Generally under the bathroom sink or in the wall behind the shower..

I found it like you said,it makes a loop through the valve and goes to the tank I assume do you think that they put the valve in backwards

Is this the anti siphon valve if so could it be hooked up backwards, would that cause the hose to build up pressure and not clean the black tank

The water supply line going to this is backwards can I just bypass this the way it goes on I would have to turn it up on it’s side

Take the goofy plastic anti-siphon valve out and replace it with 2 - 90` elbows.. then use one of these on the outside hose connection... https://www.homedepot.com/p/Everbilt...Z4EB/205815672

A word of caution... always use a pressure regulator on this line... that cheap plastic in the tank won't handle much pressure above 40 psi..

The anti siphon valve will do what you describe. It could be defective or backwards. You can fix it yourself, or, since it's new have the dealer fix it. You can spend $15-20 and be done with it or wait for a slot for warranty repair, wait for the fix and then get it back - that would be your call. If your dealer is nearby and efficient you may want to use them, if not ??

Mine was defective upon purchase. They just bypassed it and I use the anti siphon attachment Javi listed in the first thread.
