Hey y'all!! TrekkingTrooper here! Just me and the wife. Western NY outside of Rochester. Me and the better half are very new to rving. Just purchased a new 2018 keystone summerland 2020qb. We have big plans for this little guy. Composting toilet, solar, possibly a tankless water heater (don't know about that one yet). We are getting our trailer end of March ish so hopefully the weather holds off with that dreaded white stuff. We are going to be full timers going wherever the roads take us. So yes enough about us for now hopefully more to come.

Lots of good info here, friendly folks.
Congrats on new trailer and upcoming lifestyle change. Not sure if you've finished your homework on composting toilets, Youtube has "Morton's on the move" they did 3 videos on them, one install and the other 2 are reviews / and how they work. once you punch that into youtube, there are more to choose from.
Lots of good reading in here.

Yeah we haven't got our TV yet but we are deff on the lines of a 2500 series of some sort. Probably a gmc or Chevy. Been looking at the Dodge 2500 too let me know how it goes the rig.

The 1500 did ok But you knew you were towing .Aside the 2500 definitely get a good weight distributing hitch. One thing I learned from this forum is your better to have too much tow vehicle then not enough. The people here are very helpful.

Hi everyone - I have a newly purchased 2010 Keystone Bullet 250RKS - which is the proper forum to ask operation questions such as "Does this model have a valve to fill up fresh water tank from the city water hookup? If yes, where is it?"?

Thanks!

Welcome to the forum Tom, you are definitely in the right place . As for the fresh water tank I don't believe there is a valve to fill it. I know mine doesn't have one.

Might want to start a thread of your own but short answer is that it is likely just a fill spout with or without a screw on cover usually in the same area as your city water connection but no always.

Welcome from Niagara Falls, this is a great site. There's a ton of knowledge and experience here. A couple of things to think about if you haven't yet. There's a great pre delivery checklist on this site to use when you get your RV. Also I strongly a recommend a tire pressure monitoring system for your RV, I wouldn't go on a trip without it. Anyway, have a safe and fun RV season, Bruce and Tina

One other thing. . . On our first time out we camped at a local site close to home just in case we ran into any issues and just get acclimated with the rig. I'm sure there's a a few fellow RVrs that can chime in. Take care
