Pwr Tongue Jack?

We have a 2015 Passport GT 2400BH. It weighs about 4700lbs empty. Loaded up for a week long trip it weighed in at 5830lbs.

I was looking at them on Etrailer and leaning towards the 3000lb Atwood Premier with the robofoot. It runs for $200-249 online. With the foot down it extends up to about 27" high.

Any recommendations?

I think the most common size is 3,500 but I am sure 3,000 will be fine. The tongue weight and the back end of the TV. Some days when I have to lift high, the F350 makes the jack work.

not sure if robofoot is a good idea... been reading complaints that if rear of trailer is high and front of truck is high there is not enough room for the foot to fold down. That situation happens to me once in a while.

I bought a Jack Quick from Amazon. Brand new. About $100. Works slowly but surely. Install was easy do it myself task.

I noticed Amazon also had the Jack Quick 3500 for about $120.00 Seems like a reasonable buy.....

Power Jack

I really like my Jack Quick 3500. It lifts really strong, and the customer service is quick to respond to your emails. I lost my top plug, where the bubble level is, and they emailed me within a hour asking for my proof of purchase. I sent my Amazon invoice to them, and they sent the part free using Priority mail. I just recently bought another one, due to a brain fart backing up and bending the post, and it's still around $120.

Power jack

I recently purchased the Husky Brute HB4500 with 4,500# capacity for $225.00 on etrailer.com. I have used it on 3 trips and I love this jack. It even has a built in bracket for hanging the electrical connector for the camper harness. If I ever replace by Passport, this jack is going on my next camper!

I also have the Husky Brute 4500. What a workhorse! Lifted my Tundra off the rear wheels!

We also have the Husky Brute 4500, went ahead and sprang for the remote control. The remote is not a necessity but certainly conversation starter at the campground. It does help prevent the back and forth trips to the front of the trailer.

+1 on the Husky Brute 4500. I installed one on our 298BHS and it's excellent.

Did you decide on a power tongue jack? I went a year+ without one and once I installed it I wondered why I waited so long.

I bought the Husky 4500 from Amazon last year and loved it. I saw it on sale last year for around $168 during the holiday season. Well worth it.

I also bought the Husky Brute 4500 with remotes. I love this thing. The remotes save's multiple trips to see level in doorway. Has led light. And a very convenient holder for your electric cord when not in use. It has a cover over the end when its hung so water and junk don't get in. Has no problem picking up trailer and truck. Would highly recommend to anyone.

Husky Brute 4500 with remote is the only way to go! Love ours. Never labors when lifting.

Husky 5000

Trailer Life magazine has an article on the New Husky Brute 5000. Wow! But my Husky 4500 works great!

Wow, that's a nice jack! I love my 4500 also. I kind of regret not getting the remote control version though.
