You may have some difficulty with snowbirds filling most of the good RV parks in desirable areas. Look at staying in or around the Fredericksburg area. As rcbufalino reported the three sisters are a great ride, as is the Willow City Loop. Check out Lukenbach for lunch with live music. There are lots of great places to visit in the area. Several wineries if you are into that. Just know that at that time of year, you don't want to be on the road after dark - way too many deer.

You can also spend great time in Big Bend Country. Lots of great rides through the National Park, Presidio, McDonald observatory, Lajitas, Marfa. Several long roads in good repair with beautiful scenery.

Texas Trip

Thanks for the info, found a place in Castroville, Texas. It is called Alsatian RV & Golf Club. About 800.00 a month for a premium pull thru. Golf and bikes and no snow. What could be better
