No Power!!

We just picked up our 2011 Bullet 240BHS from storage. We just have a brand new battery. We have no power. We have now hooked into our "shore line", an outlet at our home, and nothing is working. No interior lights...NOTHING! Help! We're trying to leave for vacation.

Battery connected and switch on?

Check all breakers and fuses.

The battery is connected and the fuses and breakers in the bunk area all appear on and fine. What "switch" are you referencing?

There is a quick disconnect switch push and pull type. Should be by your breaker pannel.

Connected to a powered shore source and no 120VAC plugs in rig are working??Remember lights in your rig are 12 VDC and are either supplied by your battery when not connected to shore power or when connected to shore power your converter. if not connected to shore power make sure your Battery is not disconnected via the battery disconnect switch. I would start debugging with shore power connected, make sure you have power from that source. If you have NO 120VAC plugs working check the main breaker in the power distribution panel (breakers like you have in your stick house)

So now everything is working. Lights came on, but there was a delay between when the switch was flipped and lights turning on. Don't understand why brand new battery didn't supply power to the lights (as old weak battery did!) It makes me nervous that there's not an explanation.

Make sure you clean the posts on your new battery with a wire brush. Most are shipped with a protective coating that will prevent a good connection, if any.
