Any High Country owners??

If you have a High Country, especially with a single A/C, have you done any hot weather camping? If so, how well has it performed? And can you make any comparison to a previous trailer or friend's trailer. While the all gray/black exterior looks great, I am concerned about the color putting extra strain on cooling performance.

Yesterday, I used my IR thermometer while at the local dealer. Mid morning, so just a few hours of sunlight. Compared to an adjacent white Cougar, the High Country exterior was at least 20-25 degrees hotter. While it was early in the day I also measured a 6 degree difference in interior wall temp. on the laminated side walls.

Living in Tx, this is a big issue. Thanks in advance for any info.

We camped at Myrtle Beach a week ago with temps around 90, and the air conditioner on our Cougar High Country 291 RLS worked great! It has the upgraded 15000 AC.
