Generator for Cougar 27 SAB

I'm getting ready to enter the world of 5th wheel travel with a 2012 cougar 27sab. I've always had a mh with a generator built into the works. What do I need to look for in a generator for a 5th wheel? Are the hookups already wired or just use the regular plug at the back? Thanks in advance.

I have an onan 3.6kv in one side of the front bay of my 07 244rls. It runs on propane. It came with the 5er when we bought it used. Remote start inside makes it easy to use.

I have two Honda 2000 when I am using the AC I run both gens. When I am not running the AC one of the Honda gens provides all the power needed.

Gen's....

You should search on all the previous posts with regard to genset needs and intended use, so many variables.... Aircon, microwave, TV's..... For example, we carry two with us, a 74'ibs Boliy unit that will run the aircon if needed, also a very small Mitsubishi 1K unit as a backup. We do a 7 day stint in Bristol, pretty much run genset's 24/7 for that trip. Also, actually run the Boliy from the truck bed for aircon enroute to destination, no sense in stopping if it's so hot you can't sleep! When we arrive, genset get's mounted on the back bumper of the SRX. Takes power to play like we do... Swimming pools, bling lights... we have fun! Not sure what your requirements or space allowable is, again, plenty of archived posts around to see all the perspectives.
