bigger water tank than advertised

When I was shopping for a trailer, the new 2920BH I bought advertised a 30gal tank in the brochure and online. However the rating plate on the doorjam used 43gal in the weight warning.

To find out just how much I really had, I drained the tank then filled it from the hose using my house water meter to measure the number of gallons added. I got 36 in the tank. Another 6 in the water heater and maybe 1 in the lines, adds up to 43.

So, I got a bigger water tank than expected, nice surprise.

Orrrrr..........your water meter is wrong and you're paying for more water than you are using in your sticks & bricks?
