Energy Ramp door hinges

I have a 2009 Keystone Energy 230FS. The ramp hinges are pushing through the interior section of the door and pushing out the bolts. The interior part of the ramp is splitting. Every time we open the door it seems to get worse. The only thing we have loaded for the past year is my daughter's Polaris 50. We have contacted our dealer and they put in a claim to Keystone which has been denied twice. It looks like they forgot to put some sort of backing in the door or something.
Anyone else having this same issue?
Any resolutions?

Without seeing what you're describing, it would be difficult for anyone to advise you on how to go about repairing it. Chances are that trying to get help from Keystone on a 6 year old failure is not going to be productive. What advice has your dealer suggested on how to repair it? Any pictures of the damage?

You might want to try a forum search and look for ramp door problems. I recall several issues with damage, dry rot, water intrusion, etc on the ramp doors over the past 3 or 4 years. You might gleen some information from those posts that would help you form some kind of repair ideas.

Good Luck

Ramp issues

We've actually been dealing with this issue for over 2 years. We took our trailer back to the dealership and they looked at the ramp and agreed that it is a manufacturer defect. No water damage or dry rot. They have submitted a claim twice to Keystone and they will not fix it. I came to the forum to see if anyone else was having the same issue and there was another person with the same exact issue. I will try to load the pictures.
Thank you!
