What do you get for mileage both towing and not towing!

I love Line-X. In CA we only put it in the bed but I assume you spray the underside of the wheel wells as well. What about the front wheel wells?

There's a Jeep XJ running around Parker, CO where the guy did the entire vehicle in it. Haha.

It's just ugly and black and I doubt he ever needs to do anything but spray it off with a garden hose once in a while.

When I'm not towing I get about 15-16mpg all highway. When I'm towing I would say about 13-14mpg.

Wow, I've see some off road teardrop trailer totally covered in Line-X but a whole car. He'll have to use some sort of treatment on it if not it will get dull after a few years.

I guessing the 4.10 ratio is what keeps the milage down and I suspect that the 3.73 would give much better milage. However, for a truck with it's abilities that not bad at all. That's one decision that I'm trying to figure out, which transmission and ratio to get.

I'm only hauling about 16k so I kinda wish I would have went with the 3.73 gears. This is my first Ram truck so I can't really compare the tranny with anything else. The only issue I've had is that sometimes when I stop It feels like the truck downshifts into 1st gear right before it stops and it's pretty harsh. Not sure if this is normal.

FYW, it's my understanding that you can have the gearing changed. They pull the axels out and replace the ring and pinion gears. It's not cheep for a 4X4, I've heard upwards of $2,500 or more. That much can buy a lot of fuel.

Another pic of my setup...

I wonder if I could get some electric blue accents on the truck to help pull the color together a little better...?

There has never been a "like button" on this forum. As I understand it, the vBulliten software doesn't provide for that feature, even if we all "wanted it"......

I use the tapatalk app and I could have sworn there was one a year or so ago. I know there is a like button on my Chevrolet Truck forum I also access through the same app. It is what it is. If we can't that's ok too.

A blown serpentine belt on the highway between Florence and Eugene OR meant a totally new "tow rig".
