Fuse box

Are the little red lights supposed be on when a fuse is bad or on when its good

Red light is supposed to indicate blown, or bad, fuse

If you do have a blown fuse and the red light is not on, it is possible that what ever the fuse powers is not switched on. The circuit must be complete to make the indicator light work, except of course the open/blown fuse.

Multi meter is your friend. Set to X1 scale and pull fuse and measure across fuse. Should read full scale if fuse is good
