2012 Furnace Wiring Assistance Needed

Hello All,

2012 Sprinter 272BHS here. Long story short furnace wouldn't work camping and I'm lost at where to go from here.
  • I removed the furnace and tested it on a work bench. connecting the two blue wires fired it up. Furnace was re-installed. I then shorted the two blue wires and the furnace turned on.
  • I replaced the thermostat

I traced where the blue wires connect to (via a white and red wire in thermostat hvac wiring bundle) and it leads up into the AC unit. The white wire was connected to the white wire of the thermostat wire bundle coming from the thermostat. The red wire from the bundle coming from the furnace was cut off with the red of the other wires. I'm at a lost - I don't know how the wire would have been removed from anywhere up in the AC unit. If I connect the red and blue wire of the bundle from the furnace, it will start up.

I'm trying to figure out where the red wire is suppose to connect to - if at all.

I've attached a wiring diagram of what I have right now.

Can anyone provide some pictures of a keystone wiring for the AC and/or furnace?

Still researching this. I found this video that references using 'forced voltage' with just one of the blue wires. I wonder if this is how my trailer is wired and I'm going down the wrong path?

Thanks!
