Gross weight of the lightest Fuzion is 11,000 lbs, which is probably the max for any Tundra. Empty, the hitch is over 1100 lbs. What's the Cargo Capacity listed on your door sticker?

This where a Tundra may fall short, you will need a lot of payload

Not sure about the Tundras #s I will have to check in the A.M. it is a crewmax 4x4. The Fuzion is a model 260, 6735 dry, 1130 hitch.

Consider the 6735 to be 7200 by the time it's optioned (batteries, propane, optional accessoried not included in the dry/base weight)...

That 7200 will easily become 9000-9500 by the time you load food, water, beer, and two toys in the garage....

I personally think that's a bit much for a 1/2 ton - even with their current, high tow numbers.

Thanks for the input, I think I'll look at a different trailer as I like the Tundra to much to let her go.

Hey Rchall660. That’s pretty much my set-up! I have a 2008 Tundra 4x4 Double Cab and I pull a Fuzion 260 with absolutely no problem. I’ve driven up to the high desert – Johnson Valley, up 9-mile road to Kennedy Meadows, I’ve been through the town of Mojave on some of its windiest days, the low desert – Ocotillo Wells and the Tundra does a great job! However, there were two modifications I made to the Tundra to increase my comfort level. First, I installed the Firestone Ride-Right Helper Springs 2445 (my part didn’t require any drilling!) and an Equal-i-zer Weight Distribution Hitch (I got the 12000). The only drawback with the Tundra is its small gas tank. You can expect to get on average 10 MPG pulling the 260, therefore your range is about 240 to 260 miles. I mitigate that problem by carrying in my truck bed a 12 gallon gas tank (just in case).

Thanks Danno49, I now have a 21 foot layton rampage that weighs 5700 dry, Absolutly no problems with the Tundra but we would like to upgrade to a tad bigger trailer and my wife fell in love with the fuzion. Up here in Oregon I never get that far from a gas stop.
