Outside stove question

We have a new 2017 Cougar and can't get the outside stove to light. My husband hooked up the quick connect hose but it doesn't get any gas to the stove. Everything else in the camper gets propane just fine. Our old one had a switch to move over but this one doesn't. Just has a line coming from the propane tanks to a splitter where three lines come off of....One to the stove, one the fridge and the other is the quick connect line to the outside stove. All others work fine.

Should be a valve at the quick connect... handle parallel to the line is on...

that's what we thought and how our older one was, however, there is no valve.....we've looked everywhere. We followed the line from the connect all the way to the tanks.....no valve.....

The problem has to be either the hose or the fitting. Can't say I've seen quick connects without a valve. Are you sure the handle isn't broken off?

My hose to my grill also has a valve on the female end.

Like the Chuckster I've never seen a quick connection on a trailer without a valve.

Outside stove should have been lit as part of the techs PDI. Did they give you a walk through demonstrating everything worked?

Time for a trip back to the dealer.

Walk through was a joke.....we knew more than the guy that did all 10 - 15 minutes of it. That's what we get for buying at a show and being rushed through with hundreds of others picking up on the same day. Dealer is two hours away....we were hoping it was something new....

Update------crawled underneath (not an easy feat for a pleasantly plump older woman with the way ours sits with a raised hill underneath the back end) and there IS a valve handle....however it's tiny now! It's only about an inch and a half long, very narrow and painted the same brown color as the trim underneath. Our old one was about a 3-4 inch steel colored valve.

Thanks everyone for your help!!!

Heading back to the Dealer this week, the outside stove is not hooked up (no hole provided for hose). Yes, there is a valve at the quick disconnect. The water pump only pumps air, tank 3/4 full. Dealer told me they never check the water systems prior to delivery in freezing weather. They have inside heated facilities. What a bunch of crap.

I'd guess that they didn't hook the inlet hose back on the pump after pumping the antifreeze. Take a look.

This was the worst PDI I've ever been through and this was our 4th RV. I think they just hired a few random friends to help that day. It was a huge mess.

Or if the pump has a winterizing hose, the valve wasn't turned.

The Laredo comes with a Anderson Kantleak 4way valve. The tank fill line becomes the suction line when the valve is in the "normal" position. We opened up the pump area and checked the connections and the pump pre filter and no change, just air. Hope they find something simple and do not have to redo the suction line in the tank.

This is an update to the stove in the outside kitchen. When we went back to the dealer it was demonstrated to us that we need to hook up the gas line from the stove to the quick disconnect under the slide out every time we want to use it. It appears this is a safety feature to keep us from blowing ourselves up. It would be very easy to leave a burner on, close up the kitchen with the electric refrigerator on, and "wamo"
