Hi, I have the same camper and love mine too. We took it out on its maiden voyage last week. I wanted to stay another week! But out super slide leaked during a huge thunderstorm and wind storm so it has to go back to the dealer next week to find the leak and fix it!

Both of you might want to consider creating a signature showing your TV and TT's, look in "Forum Technical Support" and view the admistrator's post tittled "creating a signature", it makes it easier for folks to know what equipment we are talking about. It's just a suggestion.

It's nice to see positive comments about Keystone. This sight for whatever reason seems to attract only the one's who have problems.

We are making an effort to improve the site and and would encourage members who have had or are having problems with their Keystone RV, to post them in such a way that they are not overly negative or "trashing" Keystone. We all have issues - large and small - with our RV's and many posts that appear on this forum, and others, are placed by members who are having some problem and are asking us for assistance in trying to solve it.
So, by merely posting something here that refers to a "problem" you are having with your Keystone RV, doesn't mean that the member is dissatisfied with Keystone or your RV in general. Just recently, for example, the galley "dump" handle and rod came away from the grey water valve when I was getting rid of the grey water at a sani-station. To me, that is a minor problem and I came on here with a post stating what had happened, asked if any other members had experienced a similar problem and if so, what did they do to fix it so that it doesn't happen again. Some members responded and gave me some good advice and solutions.
I had a problem, posted it, but didnt whine and complain about Keystone because of the flimsy handle they put on. Like you, I really enjoy our Keystone Cougar but it isn't perfect.
You will see similar posts on here. A member has something go wrong, it doesnt work, it's broken, or wants to modify or adapt something --- they are all "problems" but most members try (or should try) to present their posts in such a way that they are constructive and positive. We can all learn from the "problems" others have had or are having.
Finally, if you read our newly-revised rules, we have purposely included one that discourages continued negative posts and especially those that trash or attack Keystone. Along with that rule is a consequence which hopefully, we will not have to apply.

Good points Festus. I agree but could be because I am a nonconfrontational type personality. I hate confrontation....don't get me wrong...I do get frustrated and want to blow my top but I tend to do it alone where no one hears me! LOL. We love our Keystone camper. We have had a leak in the super slide but found that we have almost stopped it completely by being careful to tilt the camper very slightly in a way that if it does rain we only get a tiny bit of dampness in one corner and we haven't had a chance to do the calking we planned on doing...other family matters have gotten in the way.
