We'll be taking our Vantage to the Good Sam Southern New England Family Fest at Normandy Farms, Foxboro, MA, on 9/9/17 weekend. Anyone else going?

Then home to back yard for pink and winter clean-up and storage. (Hopefully no "Blizzard Duty?!?)

Not trying to steal this thread, but one of the bucket list trips is to go to the NE and photograph the fall colors. We're headed to the Colorado San Juans this fall but would like info from you locals on when and where to be for the best photo opportunities next season. We like staying in Forest Service campgrounds or National or State/County Parks when possible. You all seem to know a bit about the area Would love some local advice and campground suggestions.
Thanks!!

After several days at Twin Mountain KOA near Mt. Washington, NH, we are currently at the Freeport-Durham KOA for a couple more days then off to Bar Harbor for 3-4 more days then on to the Machias area for a few more before we end up in Houlton. We'll wander back through NH and VT to return to our seasonal for their last couple weeks. We will then make the last trip to Gettysburg, maybe on to near Richmond, VA and back to South New Jersey for visits with daughters and families. We did the 'pilgrimage' to LL Bean today, tomorrow, lobster at Booth Bay is on the list. And those leaves - just barely starting to turn in the NH mountains where we had 39*F on Sunday morning. The 5ers winterization will happen about the first/second week of November. Nowhere near the number of miles for my DWs back problem this year but the nights use will again be in the 80 or so range.

We are heading to Twin Mountain KOA on the 15th. Two nights then on to Bar Harbor for a week. Return by the same route. This is a postponed trip from June for us. Winterizing to follow at home in early October.

4 more trips for us. Then we always winterize after our (long) Veterans Weekend trip at Normandy Farms in November.

If you can, avoid Twin Mountain sites 1-22, as they are quite small even though they put 40' Class A units on them plus the roads can be very busy. If the folks across the way hadn't moved their truck, we would have had to back out of our site (#3). Their new South area is very nice with large sites plus the folks that run the CG are friendly and helpful. We wont get to Bar Harbor until tomorrow but wont be at the open KOA - Timberland Acres CG instead.
