But MacGyver would have been the one to brainstorm and repurpose the skates. The A team would have just blasted it.

You and your father-in-law should paint out the "by Keystone" and put your names when you're through.

Due to my mother in law passing of a heart attack last Saturday a few days were taken off on the rebuild. Today my father in law said let's knock this front wall out. (Guessing he's looking for something to do to take his mind off his wife of 44 years being gone) She was an awesome woman, God rest her soul. She battled breast cancer 3 times on the last 10 years and she passed in her sleep. Enough sob crap. So we went to work....

First I finished up the rear trim, resecuring the cupboard and clothing cabinet and remade the bed.
Then we started to bust out the rear we made some trim strips for the top of the curve to lessen the angle. (This will be all trimmed out with everything else)

That last pic is one of the old wide pieces of trim across the ceiling to help hold it up and cover the 8-1in drywall screws since it wanted to sag.
Still not sure on how I wanna deal with the water damaged ceiling above the back bunk area as shown in the above pics.

is this a possible segue to say you'll possibly clip the ceiling like the front ?

I could just do a small section like that or just live with it for now. I don't wanna have to rip all the cupboards back out back there.

Maybe you could build a cabinet or cubby for storage for the bunk. Add a small TV. Great job.

Sorry to hear of your MIL passing.

Also you should mail that letter off!

Nice job BTW, reminds me of that guy who built his own Fifth wheel a few years ago.

All finished up and back home. Had to modify my bed box to put it in the front where it is now, it used to be on the left side of the side wall.

You have done an amazing job! Congratulations.

Did you put any storage under the bed?
