It's pretty easy, I think you could do it in the campground on a warm sunny Florida day. I went really lazy and even paid the $21 for push to connect fittings. Just don't do as I did and put the 1/2 Impact on it to try and tighten the lower mount bolt as it rotates the plate around so it is Square with the bump stop plate. You will twist off a bolt in the bag like I did.
Don't worry an extraction kit and she was zipped right on out about an hour after the swear words were spoken.
After looking at it there is a slight raised bevel on the bag that makes it look like the plate is not tight. Well the plate was tight.
