Check out the Community section of the forum (see blue bar above) and follow the links to see if there is a group of HC 291 owners.

Smile 2012 291RLS High Country

We have a 291RLS HC, and love it. Have a little envy for the fivers with the opposing rear slides for all the room, but like the overall layout and room.

We like the bathroom/bedroom layout, with the separate little toilet room, so someone can be doing their 'business', while the other is showering/shaving/makeup/etc., without squeezing into one of the little bathrooms!

We also have the dining room table instead of the booth, which works well for us. Have upgraded almost all the lights to LEDs, and replaced the sink faucet with a Delta with pullout, hard to do based on how this sink is designed. A few other customizations, but nothing really big.

Dislikes:
Cabinet over the kitchen sink/counter - we're tall and easy to hit head doing dishes. It also has a lazy-susan, but you can't put much on it, as stuff can 'bounce' off when traveling. We are considering removing it, and building a straight cabinet in it's place.
We don't use the counter extension - just in the way.
No real good place to put silverware, considering adding a new separate silverware drawer.
Bedroom is a step up on 1/2 the floor - but this is about the same on all the Cougar X-lites and 1/2 ton towables. We don't like this arrangement, but understand this is what makes the units 'lighter'.

There are several others on this forum with 291RLS units, which we are a member.
