Slide covers fender skirt

We have our Cougar 25mle on order with a deposit. Just saw this new model on the lot and was surprised to see the bottom of the slide resting over the fender skirt. This was obviously designed this way but it made me wonder how it would seal.

The fender skirt has nothing to do with the slide seals. Strictly decoration.

Understand… what my concern is that the seal comes down the flat sidewall and rests on several inches of the skirt holding it away from the sidewall.

Then the question is whether the bulb seal is actually sealing that gap. That is something you can check visually.

Did you get a picture? From what I seeing online, it looks perfectly normal? The piece of trim attached to the J-Wrap/valance is cut short of the bulb seal. Mine is the same way and has never presented any issues.
