Finally getting rid of the Trailer Kings!

Ordered 4 Goodyear Endurance 225x75x15 10 ply E rated tires for our 25RDS Cougar. Local tire shop will send their service truck to my house and swap them out this coming Monday. The 4 Trailer Kings will be used on my old 5x14 utility trailer. 2 on the trailer and using 2 spares. Our house is on a corner with the side street being a dead end so its easy to get a big truck in. We leave the camper plugged in to our 50 amp connection and easy to hook up to a hose for water if we need to. Wife and I spent many hours in the camper while our house was being repaired from Hurricane Ida. Now its camping time!

My Trailer Kings have served me well the last 6 seasons, but they are coming off next spring. No sense in investing in new tires when it sits all winter. I am also leaning toward the Goodyear Endurance tires

We have a few trips planned for the next few months so I decided to bite the bullet and buy new tires. The Trailer Kings will go on my utility trailer and for spares. Trailer has been sitting in my backyard hooked up so I waited till it would be used on the road to get them. Not cheap but the Goodyears have good reviews.

I put Goodyear Duratracs in the truck last fall and I love them. More aggresive for snow than the Michelin AT tires that came from the factory.

No snow down here but usually we get a lot of rain. Duratracs are great tires on the tow vehicles and look better then the lame looking Michelins that came on the dually I had. Saw you're up in Anchorage..I was up there in 1973 at Elmendorf for some AF training. Bet a lot has changed in 50 yrs!!

I looked and liked the Goodyear Endurance, but they told me they stop at Load range E, ended up with Carlisle load range G because they didn't make an F rating. 5-600 miles on them so far

Before inflating them to G pressures, ensure your rims are certified to those pressures. They will be stamped on the reverse surface.

Couldn't find reliable tire in the F rating. So there is no reason to inflate to G rating of 110 psi, staying in the F rating of 95 psi. Thanks for thinking of that, did look at rating but forgot what it was for the rating, Do You Know what the rating is ??

If your wheels are 6 lug design, they are probably only rated at 80PSI although some are rated at 95PSI. If you have 8 lug wheels, then you probably have wheels rated at 110PSI, although with the COVID supply chain issues, it's really anybody's best guess whether the OEM wheels were even available when your trailer was built, so a visual verification of what's actually installed vs what "should have been installed" is your only reliable way to know for sure....

During those times, all the manufacturers were substituting parts that were available for things that were backordered from the suppliers, so it's very likely that the trailer before yours and the trailer behind yours on the assembly line could have different wheels from your trailer.

Is that 95psi what is stamped on the wheel or the rating of the tires that came on the trailer. My 2020 331RL came with the same 95 psr LRF sized tires and I went to Sailun LRG at 110psi. My wheels are stamped 110 psi max on them.

The new Goodyear's did great on the first trip with them on. Had them aired to 80psi the same as the trailer Kings but the stiffness of the tires can be felt in the handling of the camper. Only went about 150 miles round trip down to the gulf but they handled good in the 60 to 65 mph range. Had a front move through the campground Wednesday and had some needed rain but not with wind gusts of over 50 mph. Left the camper hooked up with sway bars still attatched..jack down and stabilizers down and rode it out for hours. Slide out and the slide topper remained intact. One small leak from the bathroom window and I found a loose screw and tightened it and it seemed to help. Only problem that irked me was the In Command panel acting up again. After the weather cleared I rebooted it and it worked better but not 100%. Wish it had the old toggle switches that were tried and proven.
