Recall 17V-363 Stabilizer Jacks

Anyone else get this and have it completed yet? Supposedly the stabilizer Jacks were not attached properly . Do they just put on a new set of Jacks?

Tom,
Unfortunately it is in my desk at home 800 miles away and I will not be home till the 22nd. Got an email yesterday that the parts are in at the dealer though. Never fails as soon as I leave town stuff starts showing up.
Found this on: rvrecalls.blogspot.com and it is a brief sumary similar to what my letter says so it only applies to Cougars from what I can tell

Keystone is Recalling It's 2017-2018 Cougar for Stabilizer Jacks May Detach from Frame in Transit
Stabilizer Jacks may Detach from Frame in Transit
Summary
Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling certain 2017-2018 Keystone Cougar western edition recreational trailers. The stabilizer jacks may not have been properly welded to the chassis frame, possibly resulting in the jacks detaching from the trailer during transit.
Remedy
Keystone will notify owners, and dealers will inspect the mounting of the four stabilizer jacks and install appropriate fasteners, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin November 20, 2017. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-866-425-4369. Keystone's number for this recall is 17-306.

I think there may be some confusion in the recall number. Recall 17V363 does not apply to any Keystone product. That recall can be viewed at this website: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/201...7V363-6177.PDF

It involves an Eldorado Mobility Van and concerns the air bags on that vehicle.

The recall on Cougar stabilizer jacks is recall 17V 673 and can be viewed at this website: http://www.keystonerv.com/media/9113...acks_-_web.pdf From the documentation, recall 17V 673 affects 2017 and 2018 Cougar Western Edition fifth wheels and travel trailers. The serial numbers of affected units are listed in the recall linked above.

There are no Passport brand travel trailers involved in recall 17V 673.

You can view all recalls involving all Keystone products at this website: http://www.keystonerv.com/customer-s...-notifications When you open the website, click on the brand of RV you want to check and all recalls applicable to that brand will be listed.

Recall 17V 673 involves stabilizer jacks installed on the applicable Cougar Western Edition trailers listed in the recall. Per the discussion several months ago on this forum, the recall involved changing the bolts and nuts that attach the stabilizer jacks to the frame mount. Apparently some have been loosening and could present a hazard if the jacks fall off the mount while towing.

Again, this recall does not involve any Passport trailers.
