As it turns out, I have bypassed it. My replacement part(s) will be at an Amazon locker in 2 days. I'll make sure to place the new one same distance from the chimney.
Here's a few pics that may help others who find this...
The pics show the orientation of the fuse (note that tapered end), how little wire I cut off in removing it, and the posi connector I used as a butt connector.
