Passport UL Exp 199ML - Mods Questions

Looking for advice from Passport UL Express owners, especially the 199ML owners (2016 and earlier model years).

I took delivery of a "new" 2016 Keystone Ultra Lite Express 199ML earlier this year:

1. The slide-out has a "jack-knife" sofa, not particularly comfortable; I'm thinking about replacing it with a better sofa with armrests, perhaps one that folds out to a bed. [Note: the sofa sits on a bench/shelf-like structure that's part of the slide-out, not down on the floor.]

What weight or other considerations should I be aware of in planning for a modification like that in the slide-out or attaching the replacement to that bench/shelf structure?

2. I'd like to install a back-up/observation camera system on the back of the Passport; the back wall appears to be a non-laminated wall, with the back structure covered by fiberglass "skin," and there appears to be some "give" in that skin.

Where can I find support for anchoring/affixing the camera support plate and obtain 12 VDC power? (I am looking at the area immediately above the center clearance light on the rear wall).

Thanks.

I attached to the metal trim at the roof wall junction. I wired mine to the terminal box but I think you could use power from the clearance light.

Where is the roof wall junction that you are referencing? On the back exterior (rear) wall, above the clearance light?

Thanks.

I would've mounted below the clearance light...
If you've powered the camera with the clearance light it will have to be on to use the camera so after dark all you'll see in the camera will be a red glow from the light.
