Andersen Ultimate Hitch

Question here, I just purchased a 2018 Dodge 3500 with the factory Puck system and attempted to mount my Aluminum Ultimate to the ball mount. Upon doing so with the adjuster screwed all the way in my hitch still rests on top of ball and no contact with bed and swivels on top of ball. My internal shaft measures 9.25" in length. and my unit is a P/N 3220. Any help? I've got approx. 1/2" gap between base and floor of bed..The ball kit I received from dealer has a handle that requires to latch ball in bed rather than a push button I seen on you tube. So in respect my ball has a taller profile. Should I get a shorter internal adjuster shaft or a lower profile ball? I'm stymied...

I think I see my problem. The kit the dealer sold me stands off higher profile with this attached handle to pull down and secure. Not allowing the base to tighten down. Other ball has a push button type and sits lower.

I have the AUH and use the Mopar ball kit with no problems. Have the dealer swap it out for you, they are pretty expensive!

Still getting traction on all this. The B & W with the handle is just to tall.
Andersen does make a tube to accommodate the taller ball but I resorted to buying the lower approach ball / cheaper with returning what they sold me.
