I put Cooper Discoverer A/T3 on my Chevy 1500. Great tire, you may want to look at those also. Load Index 115 (Max load 2679lbs)

Especially those pulling heavy 5ers need to watch weight ratings when replacing tires. The Michelin that came on my 2016 F350 are due to be replaced when I get home ~~ around 45,000 miles. Even with rotation they wear faster with a heavy load and at least 35% of the miles are with the 5er attached.

Ditto on watching the weight rating. Also, depending on where you live, trucks can be a problem in snow, so also look for all weather.

I have the Nitto Terra Grappler. Quiet, good ride and good all terrain traction. Very good in the rain and snow. Mileage isn’t any better or worse than other tires I’ve run, like Michelin or Bridgestone.

I used to run Michelin M/S2, switched to Cooper Discoverer and I’m very happy with them. IMO, just as good or better for about 2/3 cost

Just put Michelins all around on my dually so I highly recommend them. I've always had great service with Michelin tires!

I put 10 ply tires of oriental manufacture on mine in hope they all blow up and my wife let's me buy a new truck (mine is a 96 F250 with gas hog motor). The tires actually are wearing great and are stout, near as I can tell. Cost $400 for the four of them mounted and bought them from Discount Tire. Only complaint is that they are intended for minor off road use but mostly street and are a bit noisy on the road.

My sons FIL owns a tire shop & highly recommends Cooper tires, claims they're as good or better than Michelins. I've ran Michelins on my 3500 for quite some time & getting great mileage out of them, last set was 69k hauling a 16.5k 5er & could've probably got another 5k, but was hauling the 5er all summer & didn't want problems.
