Sedona Az Area camping Info

Going to be heading to Arizona soon and was planning on spending a little time in the Sedona area. We are traveling in a 40' T.H. with a RZR and looking for a friendly C.G. that will accommodate our needs. Would like to get a heads up on trail riding and local interests....Thanks in Advance...Mike

We have stayed several times over the years at Dead Horse Ranch State Park in Cottonwood. You're about 18-20 miles from Sedona. There are hiking and biking trails from the campground, but I can't be much help with trails for the RZR. Hopefully someone else will have some ideas

We once used Rancho Verde RV Park near Camp Verde, AZ as a base camp for two weeks. We like full hook-ups and hardly ever use less than 50 AMPS. Rancho Verde is a family owned and operated park well away from highway noises. The link provided below is very descriptive of area attractions. It leaves out the Apache Indian Casinos, area golf courses and most important, discount offers. Being retired military we got 15%. Always ask.
We used a pull-thru on the upper level. The lower level is much more picturesque.

We took the Verde Canyon train ride. This is a picture of the train station.

Had a nice stay at Zane Grey RV Village a few years ago. It's east of Camp Verde
