Fresh H2O filling when on city valve setting
We have had this problem for a year now; 2018 Keystone Alpine, when hooked to City water, the fresh tank reservoir fills up with water.
We had the four way vlave replaced. The problem was resolved for two weeks and returned. Took it to the dealer, they changed the pump. Problem resolved for another two weeks and has returned.
Anyone with similar problems and did you get a permanent fix for this a?? ache of a problem?
Thanks!

Sounds like it's leaking past the internal check valve on the pump. Run the pump to try to clear debris in the check valve or if there's a valve on the suction to the pump, close it, just be sure to open when wanting to run the pump.

Just noticed where you're at, we lived in Haslet & worked in Grapevine/Southlake area before retirement.

If the problem continues, you can always cut an in-line check valve into the line on the tank side of the pump. We had the problem a couple years ago, with no quick access to a new pump, and it fixed the problem. I have since replaced the pump, but the check valve is still in place with no problem. In the photo, the check valve is white straight thing in the lower part of the photo. It is a half inch valve, with female threads at both ends, and I added shark bite adapters to both ends.

This filling of the fresh water tank when the Anderson kant Leak 4 way valve is in the "city water" position appears to be a common problem. I am not sure there is a check valve in the system or not. I have had this issue several times and each tine I disassemble the 4 way valve and replace the guts or straighten out the O-ring type seals. I find the O-ring type seals become dislodged allowing water to fill the fresh water tank. When this occurs and you turn the valve to allow water to be pumped from the fresh water tank all you get is air. I am at the point where I will not turn the valve when under pressure even though Anderson says it is OK to do so. My solution may be to permanently park the unit in Florida and never use the valve again. To those of you that need to switch that valve around I have no clue to a fix.

Always remove the input water pressure and crack a facet for a few seconds before switching positions on the Anderson valve to avoid blowing an O-ring out of position.

I had this problem and it turned out to be the check valve. A little gasket got caught and wouldn’t let it close. I popped it back in and happens again. Ultimately, I kept the pump motor, replaced everything else - no problem since then. Also, I put the water pressure back on the faucet. I thought maybe too much pressure might have been a cause.

That photo doesn’t look familiar. I bank we may have different pumps.
