Happy thanksgiving

The United States is truly one of the most blessed nations in the world. Today is a day set aside for us to reflect on all that we have and all that we should be thankful for. Take a few moments to remember those who are serving in uniform, many are away from their family today, some overseas, some at the local police station or fire station, some in hospitals and nursing homes. Remember them in your reflections as you think about the abundant blessings you are thankful for.

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.

I'm grateful for our great nation and the freedoms it provides us. It may not be perfect but I believe it is the Best of the best. I express my heartfelt thanks to all those that are currently serving as first responders and in our nations military. I also express my thanks for those that have served in the past. Most of all I'm grateful for my Savior Jesus Christ and the blessings he gives me, especially my loving Wife and Family.
Happy Thanksgiving Everyone.

Thankful for my many good fortunes. A loving, wonderful wife who has given me two sons who have grown into fine men who have, in turn, taken wonderful wives and given my wife and I four beautiful grandchildren. We have been married for 50 years and life just keeps getting better. Thanks to all who have served and are serving. Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

I too am very thankful for the many blessings that we have in both this great country, and me personally. There are many that have far less......health, jobs, and family. So on this day of Thanksgiving, remember to take at least a few moments and remember all of the things that we have to be thankful for, and if it doesn't put a smile on your face.......go back and really think about it.

Amen.

It's funny this thread came up. I will be saying the blessing at our family dinner today and I had been reflecting on all that I, and the family, has to be thankful for. As for myself, I have been exceedingly blessed. As a married teen I had no hopes of a "blessed" life. My wife and I envisioned working forever just to have a roof over our heads. After a near fatal accident I found my way to salvation and gave my life to God. Since then I have been blessed in so many ways it would be impossible to count and we now want for nothing. So much to be thankful for.

In addition, we all are in debt to, and should be thankful for, those in uniform of various types who protect us and our country, the greatest on earth, on a daily basis. Thank You!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone. I hope you all have a splendid day with those that you love.

We had 2 in the brine & spices, for 24 hours, I have one that has been cooking on the egg for a few hours... the DW just put the other one in the oven.

I think the list is 19 for dinner, mostly family and a few friends that had nowhere else to go.

We live in the greatest place, despite what some would say or do and have much to be thankful for.
