When the planets align...
The DW and I spent Thursday thru Sunday at a 6,900 ft elevation campsite near a 40-acre lake last weekend and I think this is the first time we’ve had absolutely nothing go sideways! “Big Blue” pulled the hills like a champ and tow/haul mode was a dream coming back down. The power awning, heater, water heater, water pump, power tongue jack, lights and stereo all worked flawlessly and our level site pad made the fridge happy as a gopher in loose dirt. We ran the generator -no hookups- for about 90 minutes around dinner time each evening to top off the batteries and use the microwave (oh yeah… that worked too!) Each of us savored a shower on Saturday which was a refreshing first considering the unusable postage stamp shower stall we had in our previous TT. Even the kayaks stayed water tight, but of course we all pack away at least one roll of duct tape (and a can of WD-40). On top of all that it was a new moon so the Milky Way and stars were amazing when the campfire died down to glowing embers. Sometimes ya just gotta celebrate the easy outings. That’s it for our 2018 camping season and I’m already looking forward to next year.

We're Californian's, desert season hasn't even started yet for us (Halloween - Easter)! We made a trip to the mountains last weekend.

Sounds like a wonderful trip. What a fantastic view. Glad you were able to enjoy everything your TT had to offer (pain free).
