adding outside shower

I want to add an outside shower to our Laredo fifth wheel. Doing the work is not a problem, finding a fixture that doesn't seem like it is waiting to break is another issue.

All of the fixtures I have looked at online or in person seem very flimsy, any recommendations for a quality outside shower fixture.

Thank you.

Sorry, I don't and I'd offer you mine as it is blocked off and nonfunctional but it is also a piece of plastic junk.. We have never used it.

I like the ones that are just a quick connect hose and you can stow it away if not in use. My next trailer will have that style.

I'm in the same boat as you. I'd like to add one but they all seem to be junk. I've been looking in marine sites as well but so far they are the same as the RV sites. If I do find one I'll let you know.

We use ours frequently…upwards of 50 times a year – so multiple times per trip. It's the standard outside shower setup with the threaded outlet. One mod I did was to replace the hose with an eight-footer. Now it reaches farther behind the trailer. I also drilled out the tiny hole in the outlet for greater water flow. Oh, and added an Oxygenics shower head.

yep, I like the spray port stuff the best too. Thinking about having valves inside my storage door and just use the port to connect the hose.

I made mine and only used it once. Made with 1/2 pvc and fittings. I only glued the fittings on the pvc and numbered for quick assembly. Also used 3X3 fiberglass grading to stand on. The problem was.. You still have to walk around the trailer to go inside . So now your feet are muddy.

I tried using our outside shower, but, I'm not as young as I once was (song title?) and I was a little unnerved by the neighbor's laughing and pointing. Now, I use the indoor shower!

my solution... just have a hose bib for now with a short hose coming out for hand/foot washing. Hot on the left, cold on the right.
