2018 Keystone Gray Water Tank

Hello all. I have a 2018 Keystone Hideout 308 BHDS. I think we have a single 78 gallon tank (gray water) but it fills way too fast. This tank is double the size of our old camper. Does anyone know how to verify the size of the tank or trouble shoot why it fills so quickly?

A quick search shows the waste tank as 78 gallons, and the gray as 39. That doesn't make sense to me though, as I usually see the fresh tank as having the most capacity.

From the floorplan I see a forward toilet and sink. My guess is there are 2 black water tanks. The specs show TOTAL capacity. From what I've read on this forum in many posts the drain for that forward tank is often under the slide out. Have you tried the search function on this forum?

Thank you I’ll run a search in the forum. As far as capacity all of the sites I go to read like this...

HOLDING TANKS
Fresh Water Capacity (gal / L)
43 / 162.8
Gray Water Capacity (gal / L)
78 / 295.3
Black Water Capacity (gal / L)
39 / 147.6
Propane Capacity (gal / lbs)
14.2 / 60
Water Heater Tank (gal / L)
N/A

I have seen where it states the gray water was 38 gallons....

Thank you both I really appreciate the input and ideas!!

According to the Keystone website, https://www.keystonerv.com/fifth-whe...s-fifth-wheel/ you've apparently got the black (waste water) tank capacity and the gray water tank capacity switched in the specs you posted. I'm not sure where you got your information, but this is what Keystone has published.

Key specifications - 308BHDS FIFTH WHEEL

Shipping Weight 9031 lbs.

Carrying Capacity 2669 lbs.

Hitch 1820 lbs.

Length 35' 6"

Height 12' 5"

Fresh Water 43 gal

Waste Water 78 gal BLACK TANK CAPACITY (2 tanks)

Gray Water 39 gal (1 tank)

LPG 60 (2 30 pound tanks)

Tire-Size ST225/75R15E

Sleeping Capacity 4

Region All

Looking at the floorplan, I'd say you have a 39 gallon black tank in the front bathroom that also collects the sink water and a 39 gallon black tank in the rear bathroom. The gray tank (also 39 gallons) is likely located under the galley and collects the galley sink, the rear bath sink and the tub/shower. It doesn't take much to fill 39 gallons when you're washing dishes, hands and showering.

Uggg. Thank you. I think I found the only thing about this camper I don’t like.

Thank you all for your feedback.

Any chance you could send me that keystone link?
