Look really nice. What did you do with license plate mount and illumination for the plate?

.

Last weekend finished the install of my second 100 watt SP and two 6 volt GC batteries. The system works great. Today the TT is parked under some trees and it is a overcast day with steady rain. The SP's are putting out 14.6 volts.

Hodgy you do need a light illuminating the plate that makes the plate visible from 15 ft. I think that is the regulation in Alberta.
Otherwise you will get a slap on the wrist.

The requirement for license plate lighting is also "mandatory" in the US. However..... (always an exception, right???) If only towing in the daytime, who would ever know? Now, if towing at night, taking chances with a possible "wrist slap" might be a consideration.

All that said, for us, we have the license light, but if we didn't, I don't think I'd slow down one bit. To me, if "seeing numbers on a tin plate on the back of a 35' box with "umpteen other lights" is a problem, then "slap my wrist and we'll all "get on down the road"..... YMMV

It's a requirement to pass inspection in PA.
