I think you did an awesome job of getting some great equipment while working at such a distance.

Thanks for that. It really showed the value of research. We started out intent on an F-150, we were advised by people on this forum and the Ford truck forum to go for a 250. Researching those in our price range showed that there were some issues with the earlier diesel and gas engines. So we decided to bite the bullet and up the budget to get a newer truck.

Good looking truck Scott. Glad it worked out so well. Now you've got to get them outfitted and hooked up to be off on new adventures!

The next big challenge is looking like the hitch. We went to Dan's Hitch here in Elkhart today and they are just frantic. They said they couldn't book us in ntil the middle of next week, but if we just rock up with the truck and trailer they'd try to "work us into the process" whatever that means. We may end up boondocking in the parking lot next to them for the night if they can't get it done. Who knows? We'll roll the dice and see what happens.
Boondocking would probably be worst case scenario, so that's not too bad. It's not like we'll be sleeping under the stars like some poor souls.
