Slideout issue with Cougar 27RBS
Hi. I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue with Cougar travel trailers. We have a 2017 27RBS and have had trouble with the slideouts since we bought it. I called Cougar and they told me to contact the manufacturer of the slideouts, Norco. The very nice rep at Norco told me that Keystone (and other manufacturers I believe) used some sort of hollow wear bar that crushes. They were used for a certain period of time until it was determined that they were crushing. We were also told by Camping World that one of our walls is broken? All this work is estimated at $7,500 or more depending on the # of hours of work. Just curious if anyone else has had the same experiences, and if so how you handled it? Keystone won't even deal with it, unfortunately, and the warranty we purchased won't cover it.
