Hideout 186ss Slideout

The slide out on our 186ss grabs and is smashing the floor and drawers underneath when it goes out and when it comes in. It started while on a cross country trip and got so bad we stayed in a hotel the last 3 nights to home. What could make it cause this damage? TYI

You will have to determine what type slideout you have. Have a look at this video:

It has the Schwinn Tech slide.

Are you sure it’s a schwintek slide? If it is it’s definitely broken. Schwintek slides ride on gear tracks and as a rule don’t have any up/down movement.
