Awning Not Working
Hello folks. The awning on our 2018, Cougar 33MLS, will not work. I check the fuse and it is good. Does anybody know what arm, either left or right as you face the awning, where the drive motor is on? I will start trouble shooting soon and I would like to start there. Thanks

On the Dometic awnings, the motor is usually on the right.

As a rule all electric awnings have the motor on the right side as you face it.

Just fixed a failed awning on my Cougar 364BHL, yes, the motor is on the right side, there is a rubber cap you can remove from the plastic housing, then use a 7/16 socket with drill driver to manually extend the arm for 1 to 2 ft, after removing a few screws on the housing back, you can take it off completely which give you full access to the motor.
You can check the voltage at the connector to determine whether it's motor issue or wire issue.

That works with a Solera awning. Dometic awnings don’t have that option.

Electric source for awning
Thank you to all. Does anyone know if the awning is 12v operated or shore power?

It's 12v, definitely not shore power.
