2016 Fuzion garage patio step storage

Good day all

My husband and I are brainstorming ideas on how to store the garage patio steps on our 2016 Fuzion 4141. They take up floor space inside the garage area and are annoyance unless they are set up and in use.

We are thinking we could fabricate an under the garage storage box if some sort.

Had anyone done this or have a unique way they store the stairs? I look forward to your input and solutions!

Did you come up with a solution? We just lay it on the garage floor, and strap it down.

My husband is thinking about fabricating an under carriage storage box for it so it's completely out of the way, but easy to get to if we want to use it. We like the stairs and have used them but we pack the garage with things we need for our trips and the stairs take up to much floor space.

I've also put them in the truck bed, between the 5th wheel hitch, and the tailgate. We have the side patio, so that means we have 2 steps. That can be a real bugger to haul two of them. We decided that we're older now and only need to party on 1 deck at a time, so we only carry 1 set.

Perhaps you could buy a spare tire carrier like is on my fuzion. Then crank steps up under the trailer like a spare tire. Under my Fuzion there is surprising amount of room. Only thing is they will get road dirt , water and perhaps salt if hauling in winter. Just a thought.

Not a bad idea, but like you said, road grime is a concern, hence the box idea. For now the bed of the bed of the truck will work if we want to take it to use.

Thank you for the response

On another note regarding the little ladder to get up on the top bunks; I saw a picture in a brochure that shows that ladder hanging underneath the bench seats. Do toy have the hooks or means to do that with your Fuzion?

Not on ours, it has a compartment under the television, in the garage.

How convenient! What year is your Fuzion? We have a 2016 Fuzion Chrome 414.

Ours is a 2016 Chrome 420. Those steps are small enough that you could try and put them between the 2 bunks.

If you figure it out let me know. I’ve only been able to get my cameras to work one at a time. I leave both camera’s powered on but in the monitor, I disable the garage one and the rear view one works. If I enable both, the drop outs get so bad the monitor reboots over and over.

Hi,
Well, I guess you learn something new everyday! I've been scratching my head since the day I drove our Fuzion 420 off the lot, trying to get both cameras to work. I'll try your method (disabling the garage camera) this week when I take the unit out. I'm more concerned about what's going on behind me more so than I am about what's happening in the garage. As for the patio steps...I've been carrying one set. I leave the other set at the house. I lay mine in the middle of the garage floor and fill in the space between the steps with various other items I carry. I've used moving blankets (lots of them) placed them on the beds, and strapped them down with load straps. I can't believe Keystone didn't design some sort of undercarriage storage system for them.

We carried our "party deck" steps on our first trip out - put them in the back of the truck. On our Raptor 353TS, the steps are on the side and within about 15' of the garage door and steps. Seems pointless to have two sets of steps in close proximity, so the party deck steps are now buried in the back of the garage at the house. It probably makes sense if you have kids or dogs coming and going on the party deck (and not having them traipse through the garage). But for us (adults), we didn't think anyone would be up on the deck that didn't come through the garage or house to begin with.

I have a question for you. Did your trailer come with the monitor for the cameras?

Same trailer here as well, purchased new. Yes, the monitor was included. The system is a BOYO VTR700RQ-2. I have the digital manual if you are looking for it.

Hello John,

Do you have the monitor? and do you know how to turn on the cameras?

My husband and I have successfully paired ours. I may be able to assist.
