Curtis Trailer, Portland,Or.... Three Rivers Rv Grants Pass,Or......Porters Rv Coos Bay, Or. all Keystone Dealers...and Keystone Manufacturing........say "DONT LIFT WHEELS OFF THE GROUND". I could use Auto Level to level once side to side is level. Why would I want no weight on my wheels ??? I want as many points touching the ground as possible. Way too much 'bounce' when 1 side is off the ground !!!!! I prefer 4 wheels and 4 jacks for optimum stability. I've been in situatios where the Auto Level took wheels off the ground due to potholes or the like.

I had the 6 point system & it sat for 4 days with all 4 hubs off waiting on new brake backing plates, all went well.

I agree the auto level feature is great. My habit, if we’re in a warm area, is to hook up the shore power first and get the A/C going for you know who. Then I unhook the fiver and set it up for leveling. While the system is leveling the trailer I hook up the water or sewer. Usually it’s through leveling before I get too far into this routine. I can then open the slides and I’m ready to relax with a glass of wine.

I've never had any stability issues with tires off the ground. The leveling jacks are more than needed to hold the trailer. To each their own. I like the auto-leveling feature so I use it.

I have the same system on my Cougar TT. I also had problem, yes it leveled and sometimes all the wheels were off the ground, which some say OK and others say bad. So what I did is put outside bubble levels and now lower the front until it is almost level and then turn on the auto and it has worked... They have a system that remembers the height of the hitch when you unhook and that is what was giving me fits. There is a way to "reset" the system which I am going to do at sometime, but this helped a lot.

If you find the solution to the system remember (or in out case not remembering) the hitch height would you share it please. Our system gives us fits with that too. It's never right.

Front Jacks for Side to Side
I have a 4 point Lippert Levelling system. When I push "automatic levelling," and watch what happens, first the 5th wheel levels front to back, and there are never any problems there. But then it tries to level side-to-side USING ONLY the front jacks. If the side to side is not very level, the system clicks off -- apparently trying to minimize twisting damage to the frame.
I would have thought that the REAR JACKS would also be used to correct side to side adjustments. But they only become active AFTER the front jacks do their side to side adjustments.
Anyone else experience this?

Hitch height or “auto reconnect” will only work if your trailer is nose high when you start the auto level process.

Side-to-Side levelling should also engage the rear jacks. Once Front-to-Back has been levelled then all 4 jacks should be involved in fine tuning the level.

When I watch my 4-point system run, all 4 jacks have to "get grounded" (or whatever they call it) first, and then the leveling begins. It does this grounding two jacks at a time (to save on the battery, I'm told).
I can watch the display on the control panel and it reports what it's doing.

We've had a Cougar 32 RLI TT for a year now and love the Lippert system. It took some time to learn how it works and its limits. I carry two 2x8 planks about 4 ft long to raise one side if the site isn't level. I usually need only one plank if the site isn't too bad; bu most sites don't require any. However, I do put the 12x12 lego blocks under all landing gear legs but use more on the low side to make leveling easier. Good luck
