Adding a a/c in the kitchen

I am adding a a/c unit in the kitchen exhaust fan opening. Has anyone done this

You might want to put together a signature and fill out your profile (under UserCP) and save it so folks will have some idea which camper you own. You might also mention whether your camper is 30A or 50A. Most pre-wire for a 2nd A/C is not in kitchen exhaust fans. An exhaust fan is typically 12VDC.

Yes, lots of questions here.

Unfortunately, it isn’t as simple as just adding an AC into an existing opening. Unless it has been factory prepped for the AC, my questions/concerns would be whether the roof structure has been designed and braced for the AC unit, whether it will be a direct vent or if you intend to try to connect to existing ducts, whether you have sufficient power (50a service if this will be a second AC), or if only a 30a service you understand the limitations that you can only run 1 AC at a time.
