I watched a couple videos about how the Furrion cord that comes with some of these trailers breaks the plastic receptacle on the side of the trailer. This is because the cord comes straight out of the side and, at least the 50 amp ones, are VERY heavy. The leverage on the plastic receptacle is too much for it.
The first thing I did was purchase a new cord that connects to the trailer with a 90 degree plug.
https://a.co/d/c0qich7 I purchased the "used like new" version for about $80 and it was new just not in the original box.
Then I thought about selling the cord that came with my trailer to make up some of the $$$. I still had an extension cord on my list of wants so decided to make the original cord into an extension.
Purchased a new female end for the cord
https://a.co/d/eqGluo6 and made the old cord into a 30 foot extension.
Certainly not a huge job like some but I thought it was pretty cool for get both cords I needed for under $100.
